Astrozymes' ASTZM-01 is a proprietary extremozyme discovered in one of the most chemically and physically hostile environments on Earth.

Astrozymes' ASTZM-02 is a proprietary extremozyme with demonstrated potential for one of the most persistent and costly operational challenges in the pulp and paper industry.


It converts naturally occurring resinous wood extractives — known as pitch — that accumulate on processing equipment into smaller, water-soluble molecules that can be readily removed during processing, while maintaining full catalytic activity under the elevated temperatures and chemically demanding process conditions where conventional pitch-control enzymes lose effectiveness.
